Following the CCA decision on Tuesday 22 December 2020 requiring all travellers arriving in the Bailiwick to have a mandatory Day 13 COVID-19 test, specific arrangements have been put in place for those travellers who transited to Alderney.
A dedicated nurse has been identified in Alderney to undertake the Day 13 tests in the Mignot Memorial Hospital testing facility.
If you are self-isolating in Alderney you will be contacted before Day 13 of your self-isolation period and booked in for a swab. The swabs will then be transferred to Guernsey for processing and resulting. Please do not contact the Scheduling Team in Guernsey in order to book your test.
Subject to no weather delays disrupting the transfer of swabs to Guernsey, Public Health Services will provide individuals with their test results within 24 to 48 hours of the swab being taken.
