The closing date for returning the Sixth Guernsey and Alderney Health and Lifestyle Questionnaires was 31 October but the Health Promotion Unit has announced they will accept questionnaires for the next few days. The Survey was organised by the Public Health Directorate and questionnaires were sent to 2500 randomly selected households at the beginning of October.
Health Promotion Manager Yvonne Le Page said,
"We would like to thank everyone who has sent back their surveys so far. Over 950 have been returned but we would like to remind those that haven't sent them back yet to do so as soon as possible. We will then pack them up and send them to the UK for data entry before having the results sent back to us for analysis early next year.
If anyone has mislaid their copy or their prepaid envelope then please telephone me at the Health Promotion Unit and we will send you a replacement. I would emphasise that the Survey is completely confidential and we have no way of tracing the results back to its sender. If anyone has any concerns then please do contact me at the Health Promotion Unit tel 707311."
