Environment response to Guernsey Press media query
Media Enquiry from Guernsey Press:
I was just out and about and noticed work was being carried out on the bus shelter at the top of the Grange. I also see the shelter opposite the Red Lion has been reinstated following a crash earlier this year.
Would it be possible to get a general comment from the department about the work being carried out -
How long does it expect the work to take at the Grange?
How much has both the works cost the department?
Any other comments.
Environment Department Response:
Both of these shelters have been replaced or repaired as necessary due to sustaining damage when vehicles crashed into them earlier in the year.
The work at the top of the Grange should be completed by the end of the week.
There is no cost to the Environment Department as they are both subject of insurance claims.
