24th September 2016 marks the first anniversary of the Bosom Buddies weekly drop-in breast feeding clinic.
A year ago midwifery and health visiting staff worked together to set up this drop-in clinic for mothers.
Lisa Stephens, Head of Midwifery/Lead Nurse Acute Children said:
'Not only does the clinic provide information and support on breast feeding matters, staff are available to discuss any other concerns new mothers may have.
It is also an excellent opportunity for new mothers to establish new friendship and support groups as they meet other women with babies of similar ages. We know that this can often develop into lifelong friendships'.
The first birthday of Bosom Buddies is being celebrated with staff and women on Saturday 24 September in the Gateway Club at the Oberlands.
