The Scrutiny Management Committee is holding its next public hearing with the Committee for Employment & Social Security on Wednesday 18th January 2017.
This public hearing forms part of the Committee's series of regular public hearings with all Committee Presidents whose purpose is to explore progress being made on the implementation of government policy and to inform the Scrutiny Management Committee (and the public) on issues which may require more formal investigations.
The public hearing with the Committee for Employment & Social Security will be held in the Reading Room, Les Cotils between 10:00 and 12:00 hours on Wednesday 18th January 2017.
The Panel will comprise Deputy Chris Green (Chair), Deputy Peter Roffey and Deputy Laurie Queripel.
Members of the public are welcome to attend in an observational capacity but are not able to ask questions or make any comment whilst the hearing is in progress.
The President of the Scrutiny Management Committee, Deputy Chris Green, said:
"The Committee is keen to question the President of the Committee for Employment & Social Security regarding the pending implementation of the States' Resolutions arising from the Social Welfare Benefits Investigation Committee's proposals and other key issues such as the re-establishment of a Reciprocal Health Agreement and progress with the MSG Contract negotiations".
