The Policy & Resources Committee is inviting expressions of interest from third parties who are interested in publishing notices in an online Gazette on behalf of the States.
In November 2022, the States Assembly agreed to liberalise the market for publication of official notices and establish an online Gazette, as historically it has been a legal requirement for certain official notices to be published in a printed Gazette in the Guernsey Press.
Providers of any new online Gazette would not receive any payment from the States of Guernsey for providing the service, but would be free to make their own commercial decisions about charging for the publishing of notices if they choose.
