Les Voies is the Guernsey school for children and young people that experience social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).
The school is for children from 4-16 for up to 56 learners. Placement at Les Voies is through formal assessment.
Pupils with SEBD cover the full range of ability and continuum of severity. Their behaviours present a barrier to learning and persist despite the implementation of effective school behaviour policy and personal and social curriculum.
Les Voies also takes responsibility to support all SEBD learners across the Bailiwick and as a staff team we are committed to offering any support we can to colleagues from all aspects of education in matters relating to SEBD. A multi-agency team that specifically look at breaking down barriers meet on a weekly basis to discuss the SEBD needs of learners across the Bailiwick.
Les Voies School opened in September 2013 on the site of the former Oakvale School/The Link Centre.

We value student's opinions and have an ethos that promotes pupil voice and a sense of a positive, safe, vibrant school community. At Les Voies we believe that success needs to be 'value led' and geared to what the pupils value and try to tailor our curriculum and lessons accordingly to promote positive engagement in learning. We believe all of our students should taste success from an early age and ensure all areas of study lead to accreditation
