The Policy Council has welcomed the Education Department's comprehensive response to the Mulkerrin Review of Education Services in Guernsey.
A Policy Council spokesman said:
"The members of the Policy Council were unanimous in their support for the work that the Education Department has undertaken since January in responding to the recommendations in the Mulkerrin Review. The report shows clearly where progress has already been made, and where it will continue to be made over the coming months and years.
"The Education Department has made real progress in ensuring that it restores the confidence of pupils, parents and teachers in Guernsey's education system. We want to put on public record our support for the work of all involved."
