Businesses in the Bailiwick are being asked to share information and views on Brexit, to help inform the States of Guernsey on this important issue.
The States of Guernsey has commissioned BMG Research Limited to carry out a study of the potential impact of Brexit on businesses in the Bailiwick. The researchers will also be gathering views on joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
The findings will be used by the States to inform extensive ongoing work to plan for the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union. The research will also help the States to prepare for the future economic framework between the UK and the EU, and any opportunities which may arise for the Bailiwick, an important aspect of which involves preparing the Bailiwick to potentially join the WTO under the UK's membership.
