The Development Framework for potential residential development at Les Bas Courtils, Bas Courtils Road, St Sampson has been approved by the Development & Planning Authority.

As a draft Development Framework there was a four week public consultation period and a number of responses to the draft were received from a range of consultees including States Committees/Agencies and the public. The main concerns focused on: the level of protection for Les Bas Courtils house; traffic congestion; impact of development in front of the house; reference to 'Possible Connection Opportunity'; height of buildings allowed on vinery/orchard site; residential amenity; density of development.

All of the matters raised were fully considered by the Authority and several amendments were made to the draft in response to the comments received before the Final Framework was approved.
