Liquor Licensing Change of Designated Official

Please complete this form to apply for a change of Designated Official.

All applications for a change of Designated Official can be presented to the Tuesday Ordinary Court at 9.45am (applicants need to arrive for 9.30am) without the need to employ an advocate but you can employ one should you wish to. This is for all the unopposed, straightforward applications.

Please note that a 28 days notice is required to process those applications.

Once the application is received, an invoice for the application will be issued to the Licensee Company. Additionally, a copy of the application will be forwarded to the Parish Constables and following payment of their fees, you will be advised of the Court date.

Please note that an incomplete application may cause a delay in the Court appearance.

On completing the form you should receive a pop-up message advising you that your form has been submitted. If you do not receive this message your form may not have been reached us, please contact homeaffairs@gov.gg to check.

Before completing this form, please ensure you read all the tabs below.

  • Documents to be submitted

    • Your employment history (this can either be manually entered in the form or uploaded as a CV) including dates of employment, employer and occupation.
    • A copy of your passport
    • A copy of your liquor licensing exam certificate
    • A copy of your Basic Police Disclosure (issued within the last 3 months)
    • A copy of your Population Management Employment Permit
    • Your 2 written references

    • In order for your application to be processed, the Office of the Committee for Home Affairs will process the personal information submitted on this form. The information that you supply on this form will be shared with the Guernsey Royal Court in preparation for the Royal Court to consider your application. We may share your information with other relevant agencies as may be required in order complete the application process.
