Mental health and wellbeing services in the Bailiwick are provided by the States of Guernsey in partnership with private and third sector organisations.

Guernsey Specialist Mental Health Services are based at the Oberlands Centre in St Martins and provide highly specialised, time-limited services for people with the most complex needs and those experiencing an acute crisis.

Mental health support

- The summary report of an independent review of specialist secondary care Mental Health Services has been released today (29 November 2021).
Community Drug & Alcohol Team
- The Community Drug and Alcohol Team work with anyone over the age of 18 whose drug and/or alcohol consumption is causing problems, which generally include withdrawal features.
Crevichon Ward
- Crevichon is the in-patient facility, for the Adult Mental Health Service.
Duty & Intervention Team
- The Duty and Intervention Team are the first point of contact for all referrals into Adult Mental Health Services within working hours.
Healthy Minds
- A helping hand for adults with anxiety and depression. We provide short-term interventions and guidance on self-help coping strategies
In-patient services
- The Committee for Health & Social Care's Adult Community Service provide specialist assessment and intermediate nursing and residential care beds for individuals experiencing dementia who present with behaviours that challenge.
Oberlands Centre
- The Adult Mental Health Service, based at the Oberlands Centre, provides secondary care assessment, intervention, treatment and support service to people with mental ill health within the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
Older Adult Mental Health
- An overview of the services provided for older people with mental health needs in the Bailiwick of Guernsey
Prison and Off Island Complex Needs Healthcare
- The Adult Mental Health Service is led by a Service Manager and a Lead Consultant Psychiatrist.
Psychological Therapies Team
- The Psychological Therapies Team (PTT) include Psychologists and Psychotherapists who specialise in the following therapies:
Recovery & Rehabilitation Team
- The Recovery & Rehabilitation team support patients suffering with a severe mental illness, who require intensive treatment and interventions.
The Recovery & Wellbeing Service
- The Recovery and Wellbeing Service Team are fully committed to the belief that people who experience mental health problems can build a rewarding life, regardless of whether all symptoms or problems can be eliminated.
