The Guernsey Youth Forum aims to empower young people to have their say and ensures that key stakeholders and decision makers in the island hear their voices.
The Guernsey Youth Forum, led by the Youth Commission, has always been a successful and positive way to voice the opinions of young people on the Bailiwick. It has recently been relaunched in a new and exciting form that will not only continue to empower young people's voices but will allow them to look forward at our island's plans for development and influence the decisions made. Rather than young people debating what has already been decided they will have a key role to play in what is going to change.
The States of Guernsey, local businesses and charities now have the opportunity to hear the reality of what young people think they should be doing and allow them to have an influence in future projects.
Young people have a right to be heard and often have a challenging and refreshing perspective on the issues that face Guernsey.
If you are interested in joining the Youth Forum or would like further information please contact the Youth Commission.
