BBC Radio Guernsey Enquiry:
I understand you planning web search facility is out of action and has been for some time.
I'm certainly not looking for interviews as this stage, but I would be grateful if you could provide me with answers to the following questions;
· How long has the service been unavailable?
· What is being done to rectify the situation?
· When do you expect to be operational again?
Your help in this matter is much appreciated and I look forward to reading your answers.
Environment Response:
Due to technical issues resulting from installation of a replacement server, the Planning Websearch facility is currently not available. It is anticipated that the technical issues will be resolved shortly and the Websearch will then be back in full operation. The Environment Department are working with all parties involved but unfortunately we are not currently able to advise exactly when the issues preventing functionality will be resolved. We will be in contact again as soon as we know.
