On travelling outside of the Bailiwick there is a risk that you may unknowingly come in contact with a positive case of COVID-19.
We recommend, where possible, that you download any contact tracing application available within the jurisdiction(s) you are visiting. If during your travels or on your return to the Bailiwick you receive a message or call confirming that you are a contact of a confirmed case please contact Public Health in Guernsey (01481 707311) and ask to speak to the Contact Tracing Team. They will discuss the exact circumstances with you, determine whether you require a test, what your isolation period should be and any other concerns.
Similarly, if you become aware by other means that you are a contact of a non-local case of COVID-19 please contact Public Health in Guernsey (01481 707311) and ask to speak to the Contact Tracing Team.
We are very grateful to everyone who engages in the process of contact tracing and self-isolation, which is so integral to keeping the islands safe.
