Payroll co-funding claims for March open on 1st April 2021

Friday 26 March 2021

Businesses seeking to claim for financial support through the payroll co-funding scheme are being reminded that they can submit claims for the month of March from 1st April 2021.

The Business Support team will endeavour to process all claims received on 1st April but as the Bank Holiday Easter weekend begins on 2nd April, the next date of processing of claims will re-commence on Tuesday 6th April, which also applies to the next possible date to process bank payments.

Over the course of March, the Bailiwick has quickly moved through the stages of its exit from lockdown, moving into Stage 2 on March 8th and then into Stage 3 on March 22nd. For that reason, the vast majority of businesses submitting a claim will only be eligible for a partial month during for March and therefore businesses are reminded to check the eligibility period for their sector before submitting their payroll co-funding claim. Full details can be found at http://covid19.gov.gg/guidance/business/payroll-scheme.

If businesses have questions about the criteria for support or how to apply they can also email business.support@gov.gg or they can call 01481 743803 on weekdays 09:00 - 17:00.
