States of Guernsey IT systems have again experienced a range of issues today.
This follows systems being successfully restored in recent days after air conditioning systems failed in the main server room on Friday, causing widespread disruption.
Public-facing online services have been affected as a result of gov.gg being down for much of the day. This continues to be worked on as a priority to get it back up and we apologise for the disruption this causes to islanders wanting or needing to access online services.
Some internal systems have been affected, although this is not States-wide as was the case earlier this week. Schools have again been operating without access to the internet through Wifi for most of today, however Wifi services have now been restored.
Internal system challenges are not affecting the operations of either the blue lights services or patient care in HSC.
Technical teams are working hard to understand the root cause of the current issues and we will provide a further update tomorrow morning.
