You must read this before your register
If you are new to Guernsey (including Alderney and Herm), or have previously lived here and have returned to live here again you must register with the Revenue Service.
To do this you must fill in and submit the new arrivals form available from the downloads section of this page.
You must not do this before you have arrived in Guernsey or more than 10 working days before the start date of your employment.
Submitting your completed form
- You must complete all relevant sections of the form.
- You will need to sign the form by hand.
- You must complete one form per person.
- Incomplete or illegible forms will not be processed
You can scan your form and email it to revenueservice@gov.gg.
Or you can return it by post to Sir Charles Frossard House, PO Box 37, St Peter Port, GY1 3AZ.
We aim to have you registered within 10 working days of receipt.
Alternatively you can return your form in person to the customer counter at Edward T Wheadon House, Le Truchot, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 3WH. Depending on staff availability you may be able to wait while your form is processed, but as customer volume is usually high we cannot guarantee this service.
If you are registering a child please ensure you download and complete a family allowance claim form also available in the downloads section but please return this form to Edward T Wheadon House only as this form is processed by a different office.
