If you are changing your job, you will need to notify the Revenue Service or request a new Coding Notice online by following this link. They will issue you and your new employer with your new Coding Notice, so Income Tax can continue to be deducted from your wages and paid on your behalf by your new employer.
As long as you provide your Social Security number to your new employer, your contributions should continue to be deducted from your wages and paid on your behalf by your new employer.
If you receive Supplementary Benefit or rent-rebates you can now submit your new wage details to the teams using a mobile app.
Every person working in Guernsey, whether for themselves or for an employer, must hold a Resident Certificate/Employment Permit (Right to Work). If you use your work telephone number as your daytime contact number, for example with your child's school (if you are a parent), don't forget to update your contact details where relevant.
