The Adult Mental Health Service, based at the Oberlands Centre, provides secondary care assessment, intervention, treatment and support service to people with mental ill health within the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
The service is primarily for adults aged 18 and over with moderate to severe mental ill health. The service has an internal agreement with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) where young adults may be referred following a detailed CAMHS assessment.

Our service
Our service offers specialist assessment and interventions based on a person centred approach using a bio-psycho-social model for responding appropriately to an individual's clinical need and mental distress. Our aim is to deliver the right interventions in the least restrictive environment in a manner that enables and promotes independence and recovery.
